went swimming with my niece-cousins and my aunt yesterday. I love underwater shots... I think they're so graceful. These are mostly  fun... the one right below is an accidental double exposure. 

I've been having so much fun spending time with these three ladies. It will be so sad to leave them. 

Every time I take a trip, whether flying or driving, the desire for travel and seeing the world gets bigger and bigger. I don't know how long I'll be able to hold off till my next trip.

my baby sister turned 10 at the end of last month. All she wanted was cake, presents, and our bonus nephew to be at her party.

traveling

I'm in South Carolina visiting my Aunt, Uncle and two bonus nieces. Airports are one of my favorite things... I love traveling and moving and seeing new faces.

During the descent down to Nashville for my layover we flew by/through some of the loveliest clouds I've ever seen. All I wanted was to stay floating in them forever. I think I enjoy flying so much because it's so far removed from the chaos of the world. There is so much static and noise every second of the day and being so far removed from it all is calming.

If only I were a bird.

This isn't a normal tunes-day post because I'm in a super musical rut. Nothing is falling on my ears right. Nothing is stirring emotion. Nothing is making me feel nostalgic. Nothing is drawing me in... and my favorite albums are sounding stale.

I go through this occasionally. I skip from album to album craving something magical, something that instantly feels like home and lately all i hear i've already heard before.

So do me a solid and save me from death by silence. If you'd be so kind, give me a short (or long) list of the what's filling your ears right now... what are you listening to?

I did manage to put a collection of songs together and I called it morning mix. it goes well with a cup of coffee and a sunrise... or at least that's what it sounds like to me.

new morning

i'm finally here where i've been desperate to be for the last month... i've got a few folders to work through and edit. over the last month i've download some new software including the vsco film pack. I messed around with it a bit and edited this photo with it. i'm in love.
not being able able to take many pictures or edit at all made me realize how much i depend on it as an emotional outlet. so happy to have some time again.


moving is pretty much over and i woke up to new walls and a calm i haven't felt since the start of summer. 


we had a lovely group of people come out to help my family move. i'm so thankful for each willing heart.
