Abilene, TX | 2.9.13

Here are some photos from my visit to Abilene last weekend. Had a blast hanging out with my sister and a few of her friends. On Saturday we saw The Artist at this cool old theater in Abilene called The Paramount and had dinner at Abi-Haus. If you're ever in Abilene (not sure why you'd ever really just find yourself there, but whatever) check those two places out... super fun.

Just checking in...

Last weekend my lovely photographer friend, Grace and I took my younger sister's senior photos... we drove about 30 or so minutes from my house to Cibolo Nature Center. The place was really pretty (for Texas at least) and we both got some really great shots. Hopefully I'll get some time to start editing this weekend.

I'm headed to Abilene tomorrow to see my sister... I've made that drive so many times over the last 4 or 5 years and it's still so therapeutic. Just me, the music and my jelly bean car for four solid hours. [: Looking forward to photographing a few of my favorite spots on the road and in Abilene that I haven't gotten to yet.  

I shot these last week and I feel like I've taken photos like this before, but I loved the sunlight coming through my window so much I had to pull out my camera.
