1st of October

The summer flew by and now I'm in October and I don't know what happened to September. I went back home to New England in July for my grandmother's memorial service and to shoot one of oldest friend's wedding. It was a bittersweet ten days, saying goodbye to my grams for the last time and seeing so many old friends... ten days of pure nostalgia and dreaminess. Since that time I've just been taking a lot of personal photos and enjoying my newest lens, a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L. 

I've got a bunch of photography ideas and dreams swirling around that feel big and exciting... praying for a practical vision for them. I'm stoked.

I'm obsessed with a lot of different music right now, but two that top the list are Volcano Crowe by Half Noise and Blush by Violents. Sweet soundtrack for life right now.

Life is really challenging, really lovely and completely exhausting at the moment, but I'm loving it.
