Lasts of 2012.

Here are a couple of my lasts of 2012...

last seven am.
last latte.
last five pm.
last in-car selfie.

(my life really does revolve around those first three things, 7AM + coffee + 5PM.)

2012 has been beautiful and painful and filled with SO MUCH joy. I've seen Jesus more clearly in the last twelve months than ever before and that's where my heart is... completely consumed with His grace in my life.

Can't believe it's been a year since I started this little bloggy-blog. I honestly envisioned something different for this space, but I'm completely fine with what's it become. Here's to 2013!

xoxo + happy new year!

Christmas 2012

My Christmas was lovely! lots of laughing and cookie eating... I'm still full. I'm back to work this week, my time off went by too fast. I feel like this Christmas has been a bit of a blur. Despite some personal things going on in my extended family's lives we did manage to laugh and sing and even dance a bit Christmas Eve and in to Christmas day. I'm thankful for the family God as given me.

I pulled out my T3i a few times over the last few days but with as much baking and running around that was going on I shot more with my iPhone. I edited all of the photos below with VSCO CAM & Afterglow.

far away family.

A couple weekends ago my Great Aunt Polly and my Uncle Tom, who is actually my second cousin? I think? Too. Much. Family. haha [:, came down from New York for a visit.
My Aunt Polly and her husband, Ralph, are two of the best people that have ever lived. They've done so many amazing things in their life and I've only been able to hear about a small portion of it. It was so nice to have her around for a bit, though sad that my Uncle Ralph couldn't be there too. Not being around family like this is one of the hardest things about living so far away from New England.

To read more about my Aunt and her life check out this post from her daughter, my Aunt Marilyn, on her blog. p.s. My Aunt Marilyn's blog is amazing... one of my favorites.

Celebrating my Grams 80th birthday.

It's been too long...

My life has been a big old fat sack of unhealthy busy lately. I've been sick twice in one month (big deal for me since that's usually how many times I get sick in a year), working as a youth intern at my church, working at the office during the day and running around everywhere else in between. I haven't had a moment to breathe... so the old bloggy blog has been neglected.

I shot a wedding last Saturday and that's exciting... can't wait to start working on the photos. Since purchasing my iPhone I've been snap happy and loving it! My sisters are probably ready to throw it out the window with the amount of times I've shoved it in their faces, "LET'S TAKE A PICTURE!" I'm obsessed with VSCO CAM & Afterglow.

That's just a quick update on my life... I'm loving the Christmas season (it's the best time of the year) and my whole family will be together and we'll eat cookies and sing songs and be merry.

Here's a few photos from the last couples months that I took with my iPhone...

Happy Christmas!!
